Codes & Conventions of a website: What exactly are codes? Codes are sign systems that generate context. Technical and symbolic codes are the two types of codes that exist. Technical codes refer to all of the different ways that equipment is used to tell a story in a media document, such as camera work in a film. Symbolic codes reveal what lies under the visible surface. A character's acts, for example, reveal how he or she is feeling. Music, for example, is both technological and symbolic, so it falls under both categories. What do conventions entail? Conventions are ways of doing things that are widely known. In any format, there are general conventions, such as using interviewee quotes in a print article, but there are also genre-specific conventions. Originally my plan was to use the teams to create a tournament style voting system that allowed for the users on social media to vote for who they wanted or who they want to win. At this time we have decided that we aren't going to add this yet and try and be more simplistic for the first year, however we may add this feature in the coming years. M1 - Unit 3: Marketing methods for the client brief

 Why Social Media?  The reason that I have chosen Social Media as my promotion choice, is because nowadays people always use or have some form of social media. This allows us to connect to multiple different type of demographics, among the community. Why use plain dialogue? The reason I have chosen to present much of my information in the form of spoken dialogue this is because there is a lot of information to get across in a short amount of time. As their is a small amount of time to give the information in, it means that plain dialogue is the most efficient. I have created created a campaign, that consists of a website, social media, programs, tickets, flyers, etc. This is to promote my L12 football awards show. I believe that I have met the client brief/proposal by creating the L12 football award show, I believe that I have met all the client requirements and also added to it by changing the way off advertising to something more modern and demographically expanded to multiple ranges

Overview - I wanted to show my editing process from start to finish and how it met target audience. Why it's not in the newspaper? The reason my campaign is not going to be in the newspaper is because nowadays not only the younger audiences, but also the older demographics no longer need the newspaper as its all online. This is because . The advantage to this is that we can focus on the digital side of print media, these things consist of websites, social media posts, etc. The reason I changed the design - The reason for why I changed the design is because I believe that the tickets needed a change of style and colour to really make it work and grasp the eye of the community. As you can see this is the before and after of the programs I designed. After receiving feedback about the colours of the program I decided to make it more vibrant and inviting to the eye.
