MastHead FX

Drop Shadow - To find drop shadow after you have typed your word then you should highlight it then go down to the bottom right where it will say FX and when you click on it a list will come one and on the list it will say drop shadow at the top and you click on it. It will then give you options of angle colour etc. As shown in mine i use lack as it stands out and you can see how it works well with the colour red.
Inner Shadow - This is also in FX although it is not as good as it isn't as visible and you cannot see change although the colour is a bit dimmer.
Outer Glow - This is good as you can control the size of the glow from small to large which makes it stand-out and catch the eye. This would be useful for things such as posters, billboards, ads etc.
Inner Glow - This is one of my least favourites as it isn't anything special as it makes the colour worse and the although the optimacy is max it is not clearly visable in what is actually does to the text.
Bevel & Embross - This gives the text text a 3D look that you can customise yourself and it looks good and stands out from the rest.
Satin - Satin is another one that isn't as distinctive as the others although the design is alright it doesn't catch the eye.
Colour Overlay - For me it is the worst out of all of them as it just makes the worse and is just the terrible. If you were to use this then you should choose colours that mix well together.
Gradient Overlay - I like this one as it shows good contrast from light to dark and it just looks right and i don't think that there is a way to make it look bad.
Pattern Overlay - This is also okay as is gives a distinctive show of it and it shows different ways that the colours can be used.
Stroke - This one is good as it makes the text stand out and makes it more emphasised on the specific word and makes it look better with the black outlining.

  1. An impressive post- I have a good understanding of the exploration of a range of effects well done.
