Approaches to advertising campaigns

Shock Advertising:

Think Stop Look Listen - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqGSBQAaxXQ This advert was good as it was made into a cartoon version, meaning that it was more applicable towards children as it weren't from a real stand point and was easier to watch and learn.

KFC Australia - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojqMGlqYHPg This advert was banned as it was seen as very racist. This gives a shock advertisement towards the stereotype of 'coloured' people love chicken.

Cigarette Packets - Image result for cigarette packets ukThese cigarette packets are now condoning to stop smoking as it is now a problem all over the world, and is not only affecting the people who do smoke but the people around them.

  1. Good range of example adverts here Derri, you need to analyse each one individually as they mean nothing without your shock/celebrity analysis. Does the advert work in terms of engaging the audience? If so how?
How does the advert work in your opinion ?> Do not be literal use your knowledge gained from discussions in lesson.
